1. The Douglas Mansion was the home of James Stewart Douglas, owner of the Little Daisy Mine. The firm of Lescher and Kibbey of Phoenix designed the building. In 1916 the 8,700 square foot building cost $150,000. Douglas was proud of the fact that the adobe structure was built of all Arizona materials.
