Weather
Fall, winter and spring are an ideal time to hike the Mohave Sunset Trail to view wildlife. Winter in Lake Havasu has warm days and cool nights to enjoy a campfire. Winter rains are sporadic but gentle. The wildflowers are spectacular throughout the park from February to April. The amount of rain determines how “good” the wildflowers season is.
Summers have hot days and warm nights. Lake Havasu State Park offers a great opportunity to cool off by the lake. During monsoon season (June – September), clouds build throughout the day. Strong afternoon thunderstorms are sporadic with heavy winds and rain.
