Obtain day use permit from Visitor Center for entry into Sonoita Creek. Permit is limited to 30 individuals per day.

15. Don Mitchell of Arizona Game and Fish Department, rolls his net after capturing Gila Topminnows for transplant to a tributary of the Gila River north of Phoenix. The Topminnow population at Coal Mine Spring is thriving and is used to resupply other locations within its native range.
