NAPAC Membership: Seven members appointed by the Parks Board, plus one ex-officio member from the Operations Section of Arizona State Parks. NAPAC members are natural resource professionals with backgrounds in sciences such as geology, hydrology, biology, ecology, and botany. No more than three members may represent each county.The NAPAC serves in an advisory capacity to the Parks Board on natural area issues. The NAPAC evaluates and recommends natural areas for potential acquisition and provides management plan review for State Parks.

NAPAC Committee Member Application
Applications are being accepted to be on the NAPAC committee.
Three vacancies are available for appointment for three-year terms beginning January 1, 2009. These positions are open to residents of all counties, with the exception of Maricopa County for which no positions are open. Applications are due Friday, September 16, 2008 by 5 p.m. Besides the completed application, you are also required to submit a letter of interest. Download application for complete details.
