1) Arizona Strip OHV Routes
The Arizona Strip, "where the west stays wild". This vast region encompasses that portion of Arizona north of the Colorado River. This remote area contains approximately 5,000 miles of dirt road in some of the most undeveloped lands of the State. Road conditions range from challenging four-wheel drive routes, to high clearance two-tracks, to a number of well maintained graded roads. No services are available in the backcountry, carry an adequate supply of food, water, fuel, and maps. Advise others of your travel plans. Motorized vehicles are generally limited to existing roads, with several areas closed or limited to designated roads. Watch for signs in these areas.
