Arizona State Parks Holds Public Meetings to
Discuss Proposed Fee Changes

(Phoenix, Arizona - October 29, 2007) - Arizona State Parks will hold public meetings to discuss proposed fee changes. The public is asked to attend and give comments about these fee changes at one of the four meetings held in different parts of the state.

Southern Region public meeting for proposed fee changes will be held at Catalina State Park on Tuesday, October 30 beginning at 6 p.m. Catalina State Park is located on State Highway 77 (Oracle Road) at mile marker 81, just nine miles north of Tucson and six miles north of Ina Road.

Western Region public meeting for proposed fee changes will be held at the Water Safety Center in Lake Havasu City on Thursday, November 1 beginning at 6 p.m. The Water Safety Center is located at 1801 Highway 95 in Lake Havasu City.

Central Region public meeting for proposed fee changes will be held at Tonto Natural Bridge State Park on Saturday, November 3rd beginning at 10 a.m. Tonto Natural Bridge State Park is located off Highway 87, just 10 miles north of Payson.

Phoenix area public meeting for proposed fee changes will be at the Burton Barr Public Library on Monday, November 5th beginning at 5 p.m. The Burton Barr Public Library is located at 1221 N. Central Ave. The meeting will take place in Meeting Room A.

Comments are also accepted by filling out a survey on Arizona State Parks website at www.azstateparks.com or mail written comments to Arizona State Parks, Attn: Proposed Fee Changes, 1300 W. Washington St., Phoenix, Arizona 85007.
