"Ed Schieffelin's Territorial Days Celebration" at
Tombstone Courthouse State Historic Park on March 10 & 11

(Phoenix Arizona - March 1, 2007) - In partnership with the Tombstone Chamber of Commerce, Tombstone Courthouse State Historic Park presents "Ed Schieffelin's Territorial Days Celebration" on March 10th and 11th.

In honor of the town of Tombstone's founder, and with paid admission to Tombstone Courthouse State Historic Park, there will be excursion trips at 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to Ed Schieffelin's Monument, his final resting place. At 1 p.m, Assistant Park Manager Don Taylor will give a public presentation on Allen Street about Schieffelin's life and the discovery of the Tombstone Mines. Visitors may also tour the Courthouse, see exciting artifacts and learn about Tombstone's historical past, including information about Wyatt Earp and the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral.

Admission to Tombstone Courthouse State Historic Park is $4 per person for ages 14 and up; children aged 13 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. Arizona State Park Annual Pass is available for $45 (some restrictions apply) and Premium Annual Pass is sold for $100.

Tombstone Courthouse State Historic Park is located on the corner of Toughnut and 3rd Streets, 2 blocks off Highway 80, in Tombstone, Arizona.
