Brunch at the Bridge Makes a Comeback at Tonto Natural Bridge State Park

April 16, 2019

PHOENIX – A new tradition in Payson picks up speed as Brunch at the Bridge returns for its second year at Tonto Natural Bridge State Park! The sprawling green lawn at Tonto Natural Bridge State Park, looking back at historic Goodfellow Lodge.

Join park rangers and the new park manager Sarah Kirk for a lovely morning at the park! Enjoy coffee, eggs, bacon, and pancakes on the lawn of the historic Goodfellow Lodge. Discover the amazing views of the natural travertine formation and catch sight of local wildlife as you explore the trails.

After brunch, join a park volunteer for a geology walk at 2 p.m. to learn more about how the bridge was formed and other interesting specimens at the park. Spend a gorgeous Sunday outdoors with Arizona State Parks & Trails!

Tickets are $15 and available at or at the park the day of the event, and include park entry and brunch. Proceeds benefit the Friends of Tonto Natural Bridge State Park.
