Winter Full Moon Hikes at Lost Dutchman State Park

January 10, 2019

PHOENIX –  The new year is upon us, and you can take full advantage by experiencing something fun and unique! Full moon hikes at Lost Dutchman State Park continue in 2019 with a double feature!

Both Friday and Saturday night, rangers will be waiting to guide you under the glow of moonlight through the fabled Superstition Mountains on an unforgettable adventure! You will follow Jacob’s Crosscut Trail, a 2.5-mile, moderately difficult walk, through the Sonoran Desert while enjoying moonlit views of this iconic mountain range.

Lost Dutchman State Park is well-known for its gorgeous night skies, and a trail experience by the light of the stars and moon is just the way to experience it!

No pets, please. There is a limit of 100 hikers for each night, so please call the park in advance to reserve your space: 480 982-4485. $3 reservation fee.
