Find What Lingers in the Night Sky at Homolovi State Park’s Star Party on May 20

PHOENIX - View the moon, stars and other celestial objects at the Homolovi State Park Visitor Center-Museum on Saturday, May 20, 2017 starting at dusk or about 6 p.m. The Little Colorado River Valley Astronomy Club will have large telescopes to set your eyes on spectacular views of star clusters, the moon’s cratered landscapes and maybe even a glimpse of a nearby planet.

Bring a chair, red illumination flashlight, refreshments, and bug repellent. Picnic facilities and grills are also available at the Museum. Admission is the $7 per vehicle park entrance fee. Make it a weekend adventure and reserve a camping or RV spot. Locations with full hookups are still available. Camping fees are additional.
