Fort Verde State Historic Park Hosts Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day Event

March 14, 2018

PHOENIX – Arizona State Parks and Trails and the Town of Camp Verde are hosting the seventh annual Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day, held in the Verde Valley and Northern Arizona. Six years ago, the US Senate officially declared March 30 as “Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day.”

A full color guard will open the festivities at the park at 1 p.m. and lower the flag to close the event at 3 p.m. The event will include entertainment, food and Veteran’s informational booths.
