Funding Opportunities Available from Arizona State Parks and Trails For Outdoor Recreation Projects

Grant Cycle Will Open October 10, 2017

PHOENIX – Arizona State Parks and Trails (ASPT) is offering funding from the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) for eligible applicants to create or improve outdoor recreational sites. 

Applicants may request up to $200,000 for a project. Funding can be used for outdoor recreation facilities, accessibility upgrades, acquisition of park lands, baseball and soccer fields, bike parks, pools, and playground equipment. All applications will be due on February 3, 2018 at 5 p.m.

Eligible applicants include governmental entities (cities, towns, counties, tribal governments, state and federal agencies). Non-profits and clubs are not eligible for the LWCF.
